Murshida Laskar, from a poor family, was trafficked to Bihar at 16. Rescued by police and BBSS, she returned home and married Ziarul Tarafdar, but still faced poverty. Inspired by meeting other trafficking survivors at BBSS, she joined Muktangana SHG in 2021. With a Rs. 10,000 loan, she started a grocery business. Now earning Rs. 400-500 daily, she bought a freezer to expand her offerings. Financially independent, she hired a tutor to resume her education. Supported by her family, Murshida has four children and lives peacefully, regaining respect and stability in her community.
