Help With Bansra Birangana Seva Samity (BBSS)
We Are World WIde Organization
Bansra Birangana Seva Samity (BBSS) is a grass root level non-profit organization working to prevent child and women trafficking in South 24 Parganas and adjoining blocks of Sundarban. We are currently working on community-based rehabilitation for the trafficked survivors. To rehabilitate, we assist them to physical and mental treatment, linking them with various types of government schemes, working with them in their legal process, prepare them to fight for their victim compensation and we also conduct awareness camp with the villagers to get rid of social stigma. In this way, we have with us 4 survivors’ Self Help Groups (SHG) including Swabhumi, Matribhumi, Muktangana and Mohini under Canning sub division.

We’re dedicated to offering holistic support to survivors of trafficking and other vulnerable populations in the Sundarbans region. By focusing on their social and economic empowerment, especially for women whose rights have been violated, we aim to foster sustainable development and create a community where every individual can thrive.

To prevent recruitment, transport, transfer, harboring or receipt of a person under the age of 18 for the purpose of exploitation (including prostitution or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labor and services, slavery or practices similar to slavery) and also to build a society where woman and children can flourish without any discrimination.
